Founded by brothers Omer and Jon-Ander (Jon) Beristain in 2002, Front Page Sports is family owned and operated. Yes, we know, we have weird names! Our parents are from northern Spain, the Basque Country, and migrated here to the United States over 40 years ago for the adventure of traveling and to raise a family.
We got our start in 2002 when we created our first website and started selling bobble heads from Forever Collectibles, McFarlane action figures and NFL Riddell mini helmets. It didn’t take us long to realize we wanted to carry more brands. In order to do so, we had to have a storefront location. In 2005, we did exactly that! We opened our first brick & mortar storefront location in Old Saybrook. It allowed us to carry the best brands in the officially sports licensed industry at the time which were Reebok, Majestic Athletic, G-III Apparel, Dallas Cowboys Merchandising (DCM), ’47 Brand and Mitchell & Ness. We would also later add Nike and New Era to our product mix in order to continue to be able to offer the official on-field collection and still be a one stop shop for sports fans.
Front Page Sports offers officially licensed sports fan apparel, jerseys, headwear and merchandise. We specialize in officially licensed products by the NFL, MLB, NHL, and NBA. We also carry officially licensed entertainment collectible toys and statues made by Sideshow Collectibles, Hot Toys, Kotobukiya, Funko, and Hasbro.

Please be diligent when shopping online for officially licensed sports products. Unfortunately, there are several sellers on popular marketplaces like Amazon and eBay who sell counterfeit and unlicensed products as officially licensed in order to manipulate the sports fan consumer. There are many ways to spot a counterfeit item from the coloring, striping, lettering etc., and a simple search online will provide great resources to help you navigate that buying decision.
Being in this business since 2002, we believe the best and most simple advice we can give you is to ask the seller if they have a brick & mortar storefront location. Our brand partners like Nike, Adidas, New Era, ’47 Brand etc. require their retailers to operate a brick & mortar storefront location in order to sell their products. In other words, individuals are not allowed to sell these products out of their house. Only buy from authorized dealers.
